Add these four free tips to your skin care routine without spending a dime.
1. A clean face with a side of hairspray
Even though your intention was not to apply hair products to your face, the residue can often end up there anyway. Protect your skin the next time before applying hairspray by using a towel to cover your face. Don't forget that sweat can also cause products to end up on your face so think about maybe using a sweatband the next time you hit the gym.
2. Change your Pillowcase
Try changing your pillowcase more often, or a least once a week. Pillowcases can hold on to dirt, bacteria and oil so changing them frequently can help reduce the risk of breakout.
3. Make that a Decaf coffee
A very quick and easy fix to help your skin drink more water and less caffeine. Caffeine may be the culprit to your dry skin. Replace the java with H2O, and add fruit slices, like orange or lemon, to enhance the flavor. Drinking more water can add a boost to any skincare routine. It is important to have a great moisturizer but it is just a s important to stay hydrated!
4. Sleep In
Don't set that alarm just yet... Did you know that more sleep can help your skin? Not getting enough Zzz's can cause stress, which leads to a dull complexion and breakouts. So say yes to an extra few hours of sleep when you can! You will feel refreshed and the added bonus it gives your skin some extra time to rejuvenate!
